What to Expect as an Independent AMSOIL Dealer + Annual Cost
The AMSOIL Dealer opportunity has been around since 1973. Many Dealers enjoy selling part-time as a way to help fund their passion, like racing, restoring cars, riding motorcycles or traveling. Some have grown their Dealerships into full-time jobs.
An Independent AMSOIL Dealer is more like an outside sales rep. He or she is usually home-based and works to sell AMSOIL products directly to the end-user and also helps establish wholesale accounts with retailers and commercial users.
When you become an AMSOIL Dealer, you will have access to the full line of AMSOIL products at Dealer pricing, access to AMSOIL’s Dealer-exclusive website called the Dealer Zone, a Dealer Starter Kit, free training from AMSOIL University Online and a free subscription to AMSOIL Magazine. And you will also be able to connect with me any time if you have questions or need help with anything.

No inventory requirements
Starting a business can be a hassle, one of the biggest hurdles being inventory.
The AMSOIL Dealer opportunity doesn’t force you to have an inventory of products (although some Dealers choose to inventory products to sell to people in their area).
You can sell AMSOIL products and fulfill your orders from AMSOIL directly. We have 13 distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada to make sure orders ship quickly.

AMSOIL Inc. also provides access to several free training resources through the online AMSOIL Dealer Zone designed to help you learn more about lubrication fundamentals and AMSOIL products. They also host online training events from time to time as well.
AMSOIL will do everything they can to help you succeed. They handle the transaction, take the orders, handle invoicing, collect payment and deliver products – you take care of relationships and provide local service. AMSOIL has customer service staff available 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Central, and technical support staff available 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Central, Monday-Friday. They offer a number of co-op assistance programs, advertise nationally to increase brand recognition, and much more.
The level of support that I receive from AMSOIL is top-notch – you’ll get the same high level as well.
You can call the order desk and ask any question you may have, identify yourself as a dealer, and provide them with your dealer code. The agent may have the answer for you and if not they will direct you to the proper department – for example Dealer Support or the Technical team.
Sell to different customer types
Unlike other direct-marketing opportunities, as an independent AMSOIL Dealer, you are encouraged to grow your customer base by talking to individual people, retailers, commercial businesses, and other potential AMSOIL Dealers. Most new Dealers start by making personal purchases and registering friends, family, and acquaintances as AMSOIL Preferred Customers (P.C.s).
AMSOIL Inc. promotes AMSOIL products through events, sponsorships and national advertising so we Dealers have a reputable brand to sell.

How do I order products?
Once you become an AMSOIL Dealer, you’ll be able to log-in to your wholesale account and order online. Or, if you prefer, you can also call the order desk 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Central Monday through Friday.
How do my customers order products?
Your customers can order directly from AMSOIL.COM, by calling 1-800-777-7094 Monday to Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Central Time, or through you, once you become a dealer you will have access to a dealer portal on the AMSOIL website, called the DealerZone, where you can register new customers, including signing up commercial and retail accounts. Whatever works best for you and them. You will either provide your customers with your referral number or set them up with an account so that you’ll get credit for their purchases.
How do I earn commissions?
Every time you or one of your customers or accounts makes a purchase, you earn a commission. The more products you sell and the more products your accounts purchase, the more you’ll earn.
In your role as an AMSOIL Dealer, you will help your customers set up their own wholesale accounts (Dealer, Retail on the Shelf, Commercial Account, Preferred Customer etc.) Once your customer’s account is set up, and they place an order, you will earn a commission on their purchase regardless of how they place their order.<br>
You may also qualify for additional bonuses and reward like the annual growth bonus and car allowance.<br>
An AMSOIL Dealership is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Building a successful Dealership like any other business takes skill, hard work, and time. There are no guarantees that you will earn money. Some Dealerships succeed while others do not. In my personal experience, the harder I work at it the more sales I make. The Great News is that the Dealer compensation plan is being re-designed to simplify the Dealer opportunity and help you grow your Dealership and is scheduled to be deployed in the second half of 2022 – under Project Next 50 – the focus was on making it clear and simple, pays more and sooner. What role does my dealer referral number play?
Once you become a Dealer, you will be provided with a unique dealer number, this is how AMSOIL Inc. pays you commissions every time your customers, retail, commercial, or dealer accounts make a purchase. As part of signing up a new customer or account, they will be prompted or asked if they are working with a dealer and if yes they will need to provide your dealer referral number. That said, it’s in your best interest to help your new prospect/customer /account as much as possible during the sign-up process, in order to associate their account with yours. You might ask what happens to customers that go directly to AMSOIL and not through an Independent Dealer? great question – the answer is – it’s a perk to becoming “Customer Certified” quickly. All Customer-Certified Dealers are in a randomly ordered pool. Once assigned a customer, you move to the bottom of the rotation. This is referred to as the Assigned-Customer Multiplier which rewards you for registering more qualified customers.
So, What Else Do You Need to Know?
To protect the opportunity for all Dealers, there are a few rules of the road you need to follow:
- No posting AMSOIL product pricing online (such as eBay, Amazon, craigslist, forums, etc.).
- “AMSOIL” may not be used in your Dealership name or website domains.
- Always identify yourself as an independent AMSOIL Dealer to avoid confusing yourself with AMSOIL INC.
- A Dealership provides an opportunity to make money selling AMSOIL products to new customers. Respect the work of your fellow Dealers by not interfering with their active customers or accounts.
